High Performance Coaching
High performance coaching explores all the ways you can reach heightened and sustained levels of performance and potential in your career. Based in your current needs, I will customize the coaching experience uniquely to your business and individual client goals and we will draw on elements of high performance. Even though some people interpret the term high performance to be solely about achieving and accomplishing professionally, it's really a holistic approach that works to bring the best of you to the forefront in all areas of your life with a focus on leadership in the workplace. This program combined with Andrea Laurie’s coaching services doesn’t just teach concepts, it develops people.
What makes this program different
High Performance Coaching for Leaders is designed to help the client reach higher performance in all areas of their life. There is a set of specific questions that are followed in each unique session. Each session also has a training component, where Andrea teaches the client a new habit, tool or concept that furthers their education and growth in that area. In short, there is a curriculum in High Performance Coaching for Leaders, a true roadmap for progress that allows the coach and client to consistently feel that each session is adding value and advancing the client both personally and professionally.
What makes Andrea Laurie different than most executive coaches
Andrea has a master’s degree in Counselling and as well as a degrees Education, Psychology & Kinesiology and is certified with the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association and as a Neurolinguistic Programming Practitioner. Andrea is trained to ask penetrating questions and deliver emotionally engaging sessions that help clients discover deep insights and major breakthroughs. Andrea will be following a proven framework to help clients accelerate their growth, and the unique angle she brings is the transformative experience that she provides her clients through the 1:1 partnership. There is a lot more to coaching than delivering information and assigning tasks. It involves asking the right questions, having insights into people’s strengths and challenges and being able to provide a nuanced development experience where people feel safe to open up, are motivated by a bigger vision and inspired to believe that they are capable of being a higher performing leader.

To help our clients do the same, our sessions aim to help them master:
The program is conducted over the course of 3- 6 months and includes 12 sessions which we will hold Zoom calls and schedule at a mutually beneficial time. We will plan weekly or biweekly sessions depending on your goals with flexibility for life and work commitments. Each session is approximately 60 minutes long, and the program includes unlimited email access in between sessions for when questions or challenges may arise. Meeting Halifax based clients in person and traveling for an initial meeting are both options.

The goal of this session is to discover where you currently focus your attention at work, what level of agency or control you currently feel in your role, and what habits help you perform at your highest level and which ones hinder you from reaching high performance.
The goal of this session is to understand where you have strengths and gaps in the amount of clarity you experience in life. We work to create a clear vision of your best self. To do so, we define who you want to be, how you want to interact with others, and what leadership principles and practices will make you most successful. This gives you immediate, behavioral-driven clarity and intentionality so you move forward more quickly.
In this session our goal is to understand how much energy you have each day and how to amplify it to higher levels so you have the vibrancy and stamina needed to achieve your goals and activate a fully charged state at work. We strive to find ways for you to gain immediate improvements in the energy you feel and generate daily.
The goal of this session is to discuss where you feel you’ve been confident and courageous in your role and in what situations you might be holding back or backing down. You receive insights and tools to help you gain confidence, decisiveness, and momentum.
The goal of this session is to see how productive and effective you feel at work and to give you a set of tools and concepts to help you quickly and easily improve those areas. The focus is on helping you immediately become more effective and productive every day.
The goal of this session is to gauge how influential you’ve felt in your professional relationships and career. You'll receive a few tools and learn concepts that will raise your level of action and immediately help you become more influential in your relationships and career.
Here we begin to delve deeper into the six pillars of high performance: your psychology, physiology, persuasive skills, presence, and purpose. The goal of this session is to develop a free, consciously-directed, positively engaged mind. Simply said, you learn how to create a high-performance mindset.
The goal of this session is to check on your energy and physiology work from Session 3. You receive more tools to help you activate your physiology in ways that make you feel even stronger and more vibrant and that help you gain even more energy.
The goal of this session is to review how productive you have been since we began working together so we can look at the ways in which you can become even more effective. We look carefully at how you can cut out distracting activities and, in this way, level up your ability to reach your goals.
In this session we gauge how persuasive and influential you’ve felt in your professional relationships and career and target areas in which you can be more persuasive. You will learn tools to help you improve your level of persuasion so you make a positive impact.
At this point, we deep dive specifically into the topic of purpose for the first time, although this pillar of high performance underlies much of the work we have done to date. This session focuses on gauging how well you have been living and leading in a purposeful manner.

At this point in the program we check in on your performance and define your best areas for commitment and discipline moving forward. These are your next steps to continue your journey to achieve your potential and develop as a leader.
